Correction to Dec. 15 stories on sexual assault and Native American women

WASHINGTON – A Dec. 15 package of Cronkite News Service stories on the issue of sexual assault against Native American women, and efforts to deal with the problem, incorrectly identified the agency behind one of the programs. Safestar is an initiative of the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women and is managed by the Southwest Center for Law and Policy.
