PHOENIX – Grid Bike Share has launched in Phoenix, offering customers bright-green bikes for rent by the hour at a number of bicycle racks around the city. Under the program, users can pick up a bike from one of the racks, ride it and return to where they started or to any of the other racks around town. There’s no rental agent – users can find and rent a bike using the service’s mobile app. The bike share hopes to expand to Mesa and Tempe in the future.
