SCOTTSDALE – Army Veteran Todd Reed lost his right foot while serving in Operation Desert Storm, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his goals. This amputee went on to work for the Mesa Police Department for 21 years and is now part of the Wounded Warrior softball team. This team is comprised of athletic veterans and active duty soldiers who have lost limbs while serving their country. They travel around the country playing games in hopes of inspiring the communities they visit to stay positive.
