PHOENIX – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office used a $2.3 million contract to update its visitation system. Now anyone with a computer and Internet connection can log onto the department’s website and visit inmates. All you have to do is enter some personal information, like your name and email address, to schedule a 20-minute visit.
