Ducey celebrates victory, but faces challenges once in governor’s office

PHOENIX – Gov.-elect Doug Ducey celebrated this week, but waiting for him on his first day in office will be a nearly $400 million deficit that is projected to hit $1 billion by 2016. At least one local business leader has faith that Ducey’s background as a business executive will help him improve Arizona’s economy. He says there will be some tough decisions to make, but that running the state like a business will improve the deficit.
