TUCSON – Democratic and Republican hopefuls were out in full force in whirlwind of campaign activity across the state in the last days leading up to Tuesday’s elections. In Tucson, second lady Jill Biden joined Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Fred DuVal and Rep. Ron Barber, D-Tucson, whose rematch with Republican Martha McSally has been called one of the tightest House races in the nation. McSally and other Republicans were stumping all over the state, meanwhile, as the party’s “Road to Victory” tour with gubernatorial nominee Doug Ducey and congressional hopeful Andy Tobin made stops in several towns over the weekend and into Monday.
