As the saguaro blossom is to Phoenix, the cherry blossom is to Washington, D.C. The thousands of trees around the Tidal Basin - a gift from Japan in 1912 - bloom as the weather warms, a sign spring has arrived.Cronkite News reporter Vaughn Hillyard has the story of this 101-year-old tradition.
