PHOENIX – Ten miles of South Mountain Park were damaged during a severe storm in September. Some roads are still closed, and some of the trails have yet to be restored. Many cities hit by the storm are receiving assistance to continue repairs, and South Mountain’s roads and trails will be fully repaired. All trails are open, but officials caution hikers to be observant.
