Passing of Proposition 303 provides new hope for cancer patients

PHOENIX – With the passage of Proposition 303, patients with a terminal illnesses are granted the right to experiment with medicine not fully approved by the FDA. For Paulina Morris and her 13-year-old son, the voter-approved law came too late. Morris and her son, who was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, packed up everything and moved to London in pursuit of a drug not offered in the U.S. Morris says she’s glad Arizonans won’t have to go through what her son did.
