PHOENIX – Phoenix Municipal Court went into a hazmat lockdown Monday after a man inside became ill and said he might have come in contact with someone with Ebola. It was quickly determined that the man was not infected with the disease, but area first responders were prepared for the worst. Maricopa County Public Health officials monitor individuals who have recently traveled to West African countries with high rates of Ebola, and officials say there are currently six people on their watch list. Police say it is unclear whether the incident was intended to disrupt courthouse activities and that they are still investigating.
