CHANDLER – A small percentage of computer coders are women, a shortfall the Chandler Public Library hopes to address with a new program for sixth- to eighth-grade girls how to code. to get girls interested in coding. The Chandler library is the first in the state to offer the classes, which the girls signed up for the program said they cannot get in school. Using games and apps, the library helps to make learning fun and to inspire more girls to continue into the field in the future.
