PHOENIX – Induction into the Sun Devil Sports Hall of Fame is typically a tradition-filled affair, but Arizona State University officials broke with traditions on several fronts with the 2014 class. For the first time, the Hall welcomed a husband-and-wife team of former ASU standouts. The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Andre Ethier was a Sun Devil baseball player when he met his wife, Maggie Germaine-Ethier, a gymnast who holds the school record for perfect-10 scores in competition. The 2014 class also boasted the highest number of women ever, with female athletes making up four of the six inductees.
