Correction to Jan. 23 story on Yuma murder appeal

WASHINGTON – A Jan. 23 story about an appeals court ruling in the case of convicted murderer Gregory Scott Dickens misquoted one of Dickens’ attorneys. Dale Baich, an assistant federal public defender, said his office is considering whether to appeal but otherwise declined to comment on the decision by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The story has been updated to reflect the correction.
