PHOENIX — In a tight race Sen. Andy Biggs, R-Gilbert, defeated Sen. Steve Pierce, R-Prescott, and took his place as the Arizona Senate president. Cronkite News recently sat down with Biggs to discuss his legislative goals, his relationship with Senate Democrats, how he’ll use his experience chairing committees and more.
