The City of Phoenix loses battle to keep two historic properties afloat

The historic Madison and St. James Hotels in downtown Phoenix have been around for more than 80 years, but both buildings were recently demolished. The city’s preservation office tried to hold on to these sites as symbols of the past, but only managed to salvage the lobby of St. James Hotel. Cronkite News reporter Jenna Borden has more on the story.
