The Supreme Court is set to meet behind closed doors Friday to decide whether or not to take on any of the 10 pending Defense of Marriage Act cases. One of the cases that might be up for review is Arizona’s Brewer vs. Diaz, where the Ninth Circuit Court ruled that Arizona law violated the equal protection clause when it denied health care benefits for several couples in Arizona.
