New professional soccer team comes to the Valley

Phoenix FC is the new professional soccer team that will join the USL Pro league next April. The team held its second round of try-outs and more than 50 hopefuls came out hoping to score a professional soccer contract. Cronkite News reporter Nikki Camarillo has the story.

A closer look on two players to look out for:

Devon Grousis is the defender and has already made the team for this upcoming season. Grousis comes to the team with previous professional soccer experience with the Charlotte Eagles. Anthony Tokpah, a 17-year old is trying out for the team. He was born in Libya and has turned down other professional soccer offers in hopes of staying in the Phoenix area to play for the Phoenix FC and finish high school.
