A nonpartisan rally was held on the Arizona State University Tempe campus urging young voters to get out and vote. Representatives spoke on the importance of students voting and how local elections can directly impact their college experience. Cronkite News reporter Andrea Perez looks into how many young voters will be casting their ballot in Arizona compared to the national average.
Video slideshow: About hundred ASU students gathered on the Tempe campus’ Hayden Lawn to learn more about the local candidates. A few candidates addressed the crowd including Jerry Lewis running for State Senate in District 26 and Auggie Bartning running for State Senate in District 24.
