Tempe working to make University Drive more friendly to pedestrians, bikers

The Tempe Transportation Commission will soon be upgrading University Drive, one of the busiest streets in the city. A one million dollar federal grant will help make the street more accessible for commuters and may attract more customers to the surrounding businesses.
