Correction to July 26 story on Medicaid in Arizona

WASHINGTON – A July 26 Cronkite News Service story on a study showing the apparent success of Medicaid expansion in Arizona attributed one statement to the wrong source. It was Matt Jewett, director of health policy at the Children’s Action Alliance in Arizona, who said Arizona’s Medicaid program is still “one of the most effective and of the highest quality in the country.” An updated version of the story reflects the correction.
