Phoenix transit facing deficits; cutbacks, fare increase possible

The economic downturn has reduced the amount of tax revenue for public transit, with a 44 million dollar deficit predicted by the year 2020. To make up the shortfall, Phoenix officials expect to increase single ride bus fares by 25 cents. Cuts in some services may be necessary as well. Cronkite News reporter Eric Gembarowski has more.
