New bill may have families facing stricter process for using food stamps

A new bill would bring more attention to those who use food stamps. Lawmakers say the goal is to protect the identity of the person using the food stamps to prevent fraud. The program would cost $23 million to start and $18 million a year to maintain, according to the department of economic security. Cronkite News reporter Andy Ellison has more on the story.
