‘An absolute honor’: World Cup champion Ertz headlines Arizona HOF class
PHOENIX – Julie Ertz, a Mesa native and two-time World Cup champion, was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. Known for her leadership and grit, she starred at Santa Clara University and captained the U.S. U-20 team to a World Cup title before winning two more with the senior national team.
