Arizona Prop 107 supporters waiting but ‘very hopeful’

Leon Drolet, campaign manager for “Yes on Prop 107,” says supporters are “very hopeful” that voters have approved the measure to ban state and local governments from using affirmative action programs.

A core group of about 10 supporters are watching election results come in at a downtown Phoenix bar, across the lobby from the Arizona Republican Party’s celebration at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

Other Proposition 107 supporters are going back and forth between the Republican reception and other temporary individual campaign headquarters.
