S.C. statute cuts down on illegal employees, Arizona law yields little

South Carolina officials say an auditing system has produced a 92 percent compliance rate with the state’s ban on hiring illegal immigrants. Arizona has no auditing system, and the state’s supposedly tough law on hiring has produced just three cases in three years.
